Senior Desktop Engineer – Private Equity Company – Salary Bonus – Remote

This is a Contract position in Phoenix, AZ posted October 21, 2021.

The Senior Desktop Engineer will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, and maintaining all PC hardware and software, telephones, and mobile computing devices.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, customer service, communication, and time management skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide Help Desk support including, but not limited to responding to Help Desk tickets, answering support calls and instant messages to resolve issues in a timely manner Extensive experience in customer service supporting C-level employees, executives and down General support of desktops, laptops, software, peripherals and maintain inventory of equipment Configure and support Windows PC hardware and software Image Windows PCs for deployment to end users Diagnose and repair hardware failures for computer hardware and replace parts as required.

Set up, configure, and troubleshoot iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) Respond to tickets and calls within SLA’s and updating tickets for tasks completed.

Effectively prioritize Help Desk tickets and calls to ensure those that have greatest impact on the business are resolved first.

Seek support from manager and/or senior staff on overdue incidents or more help is required to resolve a call.

Experience support audio and video conferencing rooms and systems Escalate major incidents or issues to IT management quickly and clearly.

Document issue resolution for Help Desk knowledge base and share knowledge with team.

Qualifications B.A./B.S.

degree in computer science or related discipline; or the combination of education and relative experience 3-8 years help desk / desktop support experience (preferably in Legal, Private Equity / Hedge Fund space) 3-8 years Windows and Microsoft Office experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly communicate steps to resolve user’s issues Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Apple iOS Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Zoom Basic understanding of Network Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.) Experience with remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services, team viewer) by Jobble
