Clinical Accounts ManagerClassification: FLSA ExemptReports To: Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) Special Note to Applicants: This position is considered a remote posting for all eligible applicants within the United States and applicants will continue to live and work within their home state.

Applicants who live and work in New Mexico will be considered remote until it is safe to return to the office.

SummaryThis is a hybrid sales and technical position which would suit someone with experience in clinical sales and digital pathology.

This position is responsible for the sales lifecycle in North and South America including aspects of sales management and pre and post-sales customer support and is a remote position located within the United States.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentifies clinical customers in different markets and establishes marketing and sales strategies to reach themQualifies new leads, issues quotes, and reports back on quotations made and outcomesKeeps the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database up to date, importing new data, updating records, and performing the necessary cross checksAssists in the preparation of sales statistics & reportsPerforms ongoing account management duties for all assigned accountsSupervises and manages clinical application scientists assigned to territoryWorks with customers to determine which software solutions best meets needsDemonstrates HALO AP and associated software capabilities through remote conferencing or on-site visitWorks with clinical product manager to define requirements and to determine pricing strategiesManages software trials and proof-of-concept studiesSupports commercial efforts by participating in seminars and tradeshows or giving technical presentations or posters as requiredInstalls software and trains customers using remote conferencing or on-site visitProvides ongoing technical and scientific support to existing customersThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.

Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree (or global equivalent) in scientific fieldExperience in pathology, digital pathology, histology, microscopy, and image analysisFive (5) years of sales or sales/applications experience in the clinical pathology marketAuthorization to work in the United StatesValid Passport for international travelMust live within 60 miles of an international airport Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree (or global equivalent) in scientific fieldCurrently resides in, or near, a major metropolitan area in North or South America Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to deliver presentations to small and large scientific audiencesSoft skills, with a passion for providing superior customer serviceBasic skills in Information Technology (IT) and network knowledgeAbility to quickly shift priorities LocationThis is a remote position, located in the employee’s home state.

Working Conditions and Physical EffortUp to 50% global travel on short notice.
