We have partnered with several insurance carriers also committed to ensuring you have better purchase and claims experiences, and gain everyday value for your insurance investment.Job OverviewAs a Licensed Commercial Lines Producer within Winooski Insurance, you will be responsible for driving new commercial business to develop a book of clients and provide service to your clients. The desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential to your success. You must also be extremely detail-oriented, have a high level of commercial lines knowledge and have experience handling a vast array of large account relationships.Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesGenerate new revenue and grow your own book of business through consistent sales efforts; this includes, but is not limited to, soliciting business via telephone, networking, on-site visits, and other lead sourcesAssess potential clients needs and recommend products, while proactively cross-sell additional products as appropriateAdvise clients regarding commercial risk and liability; explain complex policies and the technical aspects of various coverage options to help clients make informed decisions that meet and/or exceed their needsFoster and cultivate relationships with internal and external team membersAttend and actively participate in internal meetings as required (staff meetings, sales meetings, etc.)Schedule meetings with clients as appropriateActively support and serve as a role model for company mission and core valuesMeet continuing education requirements to maintain all applicable licensesRequirementsCommercial Insurance License and Property & Casualty License required prior to start (3+ years of licensing preferred); additional licenses/certifications a plusSales-focused self-starter with drive and determination to more than double income through commissionsExceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentialityOutstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills; able to create and deliver presentations via multiple mediums to individuals as well as varied groups of peopleStrong quantitative and analytical capabilities and well as a technical understanding of commercial insurance products; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply to practical situationsProven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervisionPC proficiency required, including MS OfficeKnowledge of other industry-specific or custom software a plusBenefitsDealerPolicy offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, which includeMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account with company matchFSA, Dependent Care FSA and Commuter pre-tax benefitPTO allowance and holidays401(k) plan with company matchDiscounted Edge & Fitness MembershipWide variety of local discountsUncapped Earning PotentialApply for this job
