Solutions Engineer – Salesforce – Remote Work Options

The Solutions Engineer Salesforce will report to the BI Solutions Manager and will be a subject matter expert in the area of Business Intelligence enterprise data management, specializing in BI system and service management.

Responsibilities: * Participate in the ongoing development and support of existing applications.* Participates in meetings with customers & management.* Work with customers and partners to drive out business requirements.* Perform applications setup.* Assist in the design and execution of test plans* Recognize & escalate issues within the CRM applications.* Develop problem identification/resolution skills.

Contribute to delivering the solution.* Be task-focused & prepared to do a variety of tasks in a changing environment* Present ideas in a concise and focused manner.

Requirements: * Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or similar required.

MCITP preferred.* 5+ years in experience in managing and maintaining Business Intelligence systems.* Able to diagram customer processes and recommend process changes* Exposure to sales, business development, and marketing processes preferred.* Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)* Excellent time management skills* or similar CRM experience.* Understanding of customer and partner relationship strategies.* Analytics and trend mapping.* Sales and sales support automations, workflows, and approvals.* Knowledge of the customer journey and the ability to map and analyze touch points in line with sales process.* Basic understanding of API and REST.* Basic knowledge of database architecture.* Experience in ITIL or other formal SDLC methodologies and governance practices.

Experience with the sales process, cycles and methodology, including: * account/territory management* opportunity management* contact management* business development* professional services* partner management* technical consulting* service engineering Experience with marketing activity, including: * demand generation* lead nurturing* customer profiling* social & digital media* campaign influence tracking Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
