We’re looking for someone to join our customer experience team as a customer insights researcher.

We need someone who’s adept at both qualitative and quantitative research, who can tell stories with data, and who can drive strategic insights across the organization. 

You will:

  • Design, conduct, and analyze qualitative research to deepen Boomi’s understanding of our customers’ experiences, pain points, and needs (for example, surveys and interviews)

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on existing customer and internal data to understand customer needs and other insights

  • Build present-state customer journey maps and design aspirational customer journeys in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Support cross-functional collaborative efforts to collect, analyze, report, and act on customer insights

  • Synthesize customer-related insights into strategic recommendations 

  • Prepare & present executive-level communications

Essential requirements:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills & experience with both quantitative and qualitative research

  • Experience designing surveys and interview guides as well as conducting and analyzing other types of qualitative primary research

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including verbal, written, and other visual communication

  • Experience developing customer journey maps 

  • Direct experience in UX or CX research, ideally with both quantitative and qualitative components

  • 2+ years’ relevant experience

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Prior experience mapping & designing customer experiences 

  • Ability to develop and present effective executive-level communications

  • Knowledge and experience in the Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) market

  • MBA and/or experience in management consulting

We are currently a fully-remote company, due to COVID-19, and will remain a remote-friendly company once we can safely return to site.

When it’s safe to do so, occasional travel may be required (<10% travel).
