b’CAREER DESCRIPTIONnnnnJob DescriptionnnnnJob Description SummarynnResponsible for the management of the companyxe2x80x99s suppliers and related purchasing tasks associated with the profitable and efficient procurement of the WORLDPAC product offering.

Provide analyses to understand business trends and support company initiatives.

Develop industry and product expertise and become the subject matter expert for supplier management including expertise on competitors and manufacturers.xc2xa0 High level individual contributor with P&L ownership and strategic category leadership.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:nn Establish New Deals on Products, Pricing, Terms, and Conditionsn Negotiate Supplier Incentive, Rebate & Bonus Programsn Negotiate Supplier Agreements, Contracts, Commercial Terms & Pricesn Manage Supplier Relationshipn Analyze Supplier Performance (on time shipping, fill rates, etc)n Prepare Supplier price file uploads and the resulting new price file changes analysisnnADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:nn Negotiate Warranties & Returns Allowancen Track License Fees Where Applicablen Issue Purchase Orders in a Timely Fashion, Ensure Receipt and Follow-upn Evaluate Purchase Order Recommendationsn Monitor and Follow Up PO Confirmationsn Perform Price Updates (pursue and analyze pricing)n Backorders (pursue and analyze)n Invoices
– Process EDIn Review, Key, and Approve Supplier Invoices to Support Logistic Team when Neededn Communicate with Suppliers to Resolve Purchase Order/Invoice Discrepancies or Disputesn Meet with Suppliers / Schedule Supplier Meetingsn Projects xe2x80x93 Collaborate, Maintain and Reportn Work with Teammates to Cross Train and Assure Strong Back Upn Create PowerPoint Presentations to Communicate Business Performance to Sr.

Leadershipn Collaborate with Internal Partners Including: Pricing, Marketing, Inventory, Accounting, Legal, Cataloging, and Product Developmentn Must have Strong Attention to Detailn Must have Ability to Multi-Task and Handle Several Projects at Oncen Must have Good Organization Skillsn Comfortable & Capable in a Fast-Paced Environmentxc2xa0n Proficient with ExcelnnEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEnn Undergraduate degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experiencen 3 years of experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlookn 3 years of experience in Vendor Relations, Negotiations, Financial Literacy/Pricing, Category Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.nnPREFERREDnn 1 yearsxe2x80x99 experience working in Automotive OEM or Aftermarketn Industry & Trade Association Knowledgen Customs and Logistics Awarenessn Understanding of Global Currencies & Geographyn Basic Financial and Accounting Understandingn Exposure to Queryn Speak Japanesen General Cultural AwarenessnnCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSnnNonennPHYSICAL DEMANDSnnThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
