Immigration and HR Specialist (Remote)

This is a Contract position in Sioux Falls, SD posted October 28, 2021.

As an immigration and HR Specialist, you will be the central point of contact for Tile employees in regards to the Tile immigration program.

You will provide client focused immigration support, perform administrative tasks required for compliance, and be a liaison to prospective employees, recruiters, hiring managers, HRBP, in addition to current employees.

This role also includes HRIS administration and compliance training administration, and other projects as assigned.

This position is a part-time position, 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities: Manage immigration cases (US and Canada) for prospective and existing employees Serve as the main contact point between recruiters, candidates, and our immigration lawyer to assess potential immigration support.

Communicate processes and timelines to all stakeholders in a timely manner Manage current employee immigration cases (new visa, change of status, amendment, extensions, business travel, permanent residency) in partnership with the manager Manage immigration lifecycle for all employees Share up-to-date immigration resources and updates internally Ensure immigration data and immigration compliance records are maintained and up to date Review all invoices for immigration-related services Administer Anti-Harassment and Respectful Workplace online training Keep employee data up-to-date in several HR & benefits systems while maintaining data accuracy Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 2 years of immigration experience Knowledge of visas/work permits and employment-based Permanent Residency processes and regulations Excellent program management and vendor management skills Self-motivated, self-starter, proactive, and inventive Detail-oriented Able to collaborate in a fast-paced, flexible environment Ability to meet tight deadlines Proven success in prioritizing and coordinating multiple tasks Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work in a multifaceted and changing environment, where multiple priorities need to be effectively handled, while maintaining composure and flexibility in a structured environment Strong interpersonal skills aligned with Tile Values Benefits: Work with an adept team of people who love what they do Flexible work program Comprehensive health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, and pre-tax commuter deduction LI-Remote Tile’s Mission We solve real problems with technology to make people’s daily lives better.

About Tile Tile is best known today for its market-leading Bluetooth finders with over 35 million units sold and 5M items located daily.

That said, Tile has recently expanded the devices that are findable by its platform by embedding its software into third-party products.
