Remote Product Control Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client, a growing nationwide company is seeking a Remote Automation Production Control Analyst. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this search positions. This position is 100% Remote. Responsibilities of the Remote Application/Automation Production Control Analyst:

  • Remote Application/Automation Production Control Analyst will be responsible for developing and supporting integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating designed applications across the enterprise
  • Remote Application/Automation Production Control Analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of the enterprise scheduling and monitoring system to ensure continuous operations of critical IT resources
  • Provide operational support of batch jobs related to the company’s Policy Management System, Reporting Data Marts, and other adjunct systems to ensure they run reliably, accurately and successfully
  • Monitor and manage batch environments using control dashboards, logs, job scheduler, reports and job output
  • Ensure jobs are executed successfully
  • Detect job failures and execute restart procedures, which may include manually executing tasks
  • Escalate pre and post batch cycle execution issues according to priority and severity in a timely manner
  • Monitor and manage multiple environment batch streams
  • More focused on dataflow, application and databases
  • Escalate job failure and service level agreement (SLA) misses internally and with business partners
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot job trigger and data transfer issues
  • Analyze problems by isolating failing components within the data processing environment
  • Triage, escalate, and assist in root cause analysis related to data processing activities
  • Assist in developing new production control processes to reduce outages and improve efficiency
  • Design and create scripts and process automation using batch scripts, PowerShell or VBScript, etc.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years’ experience as a Production Control Analyst or similar duties
  • 2 years’ experience in process automation using various scripting languages
  • Batch monitoring, scripting automation experience is required
  • Monitor and correct, troubleshoot database batch processing
  • Strong SQL and Database Management
  • Insurance or financial industry experience is a plus
  • Need intermediate level IT operations experience; NOC IT first support, networks, server, hardware, batch process
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Windows server
  • Intermediate proficiency with job scheduling software
  • Intermediate proficiency with data transfer software
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
  • Travel: 5% domestic travel required
