Renewal Specialist – Remote (United States)

This is a Full-time position in Honolulu, HI posted September 14, 2021.

The Renewal Specialist is responsible for creating and leveraging customer insights data to inform renewal forecasting and churn mitigation strategies, focused on maintaining and growing revenue within the existing customer base. This role is aligned to renewal opportunities and is responsible for analyzing utilization, adoption, customer satisfaction surveys and other data to develop account insights, identifying opportunities and risks, and providing strategic renewal recommendations. The Renewal Specialist will incorporate business acumen, market research and innovative thinking across the customer life cycle to improve customer experience and enhance renewability of accounts within an assigned market segment.In this role you will:+ Track and leverage customer data and behavior to assess the health of each renewal+ Create customer-specific renewal plans to mitigate risk and expand adoption and utilization+ Liaise closely with the Account Management team to ensure alignment on renewal strategies and status+ Document activities in Gainsight and, prepare and maintain accurate reports and forecasts and perform other tasks as necessary to drive sales revenue+ Contribute to achieving quarterly assigned team sales quotas, including identifying upsell, cross-sell and expansion opportunities where applicable+ Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Cornerstone’s products and services+ Be an active team player on the Customer Operations team, with sales partners and throughout Cornerstone to help meet company objectivesYou’ve got what it takes if you have…+ BA/BS or equivalent experience+ 3+ years of experience in sales, customer success or business services with strong emphasis on customer retention+ Documented success contributing to shared portfolio retention and growth goals (or targets)+ Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, consulting and analytical skills+ Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic organization+ Passion for customer success+ Consideration for privacy and security obligationsEqual Employment Opportunity has been, and will continue to be, a fundamental commitment at Cornerstone OnDemand.
