Sales/Account Executive – Transportation (Remote)


This is a Full-time position in Salt Lake City, UT posted October 22, 2021.

Voxelmaps is building the world’s most accurate 4D volumetric model of the earth, combining high-resolution scans using the latest LiDAR and HD imaging sensors, fused with a wide variety of other rich content.

The result is a new form of mapping which provides superior levels of accuracy, information, and insight.

Voxelmaps has developed a patented technology that divides the planet into a dense matrix of multi-resolution voxels (3D pixel), with each voxel having a permanent location and address.

The automated feature extraction is performed on this model using Voxelmaps’ developed AI software tools.
Voxelmaps is building a highly-skilled Sales Team to grow our geospatial and analytic products and services business.

As a key member of the sales team, you will use your interpersonal skills to develop relationships to become a trusted advisor to our clients.

This position will focus on the Transportation markets.

We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working with cutting edge technology to provide solutions to complex problems encountered by our prospective clients.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Reports to Director of Sales
– Transportation
Develop new business in multiple markets
Establish a network with prospect decision-makers in order to develop new business
Prospect and develop opportunities to contract/partner with prospects that have a need for geospatial, remote sensing and analytical solutions
Clearly articulate the strength and value proposition of Voxelmaps
Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for business growth
Understand the key business drivers within an organization and identify key business stakeholders
Understand the client’s budgeting and acquisition processes
Effectively utilize and leverage the company’s CRM to manage opportunities and drive the buying process
Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars (as required)
Be resourceful and take initiative to resolve issues
Maintain leads and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce)


Work experience in GIS, Remote Sensing or a related field
2-3+ years of quota carrying sales experience in the Transportation space selling GIS, Remote Sensing, Field Data Collection Services, or similar products/services
SaaS or DaaS sales and contracting experience.

Connections in the Transportation end user community with access to these contacts.
The ability to understand the key business drivers within an organization and identify key business stakeholders and business opportunities
Ability to solve complicated problems.

Must have strong logic skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication (oral/written), and presentation skills
Intermediate to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of CRM systems (Pipedrive, Salesforce, not inclusive)
Ability to travel domestically up to 35%
Job Type: Permanent/Full Time
Salary: $70k-$90k salary, OTE to $150k
Location: Remote but must be available to travel to site locations within the USA
