As an HR Communications Director , you’ll be at the forefront of, recommending designing and implementing communications solutions that support Citizen’s mission, strategic priorities, values and culture.

You will be a trusted business partner to functional and HR leaders to advance top prioritiy initiatives, core to enabling business outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesThis highly visible role provides communications counsel, thought leadership and will require a big picture perspective to ensure the appropriate integration and coordination of messaging to the broader Enterprise in addition to the HR organization.

This role will support and advance our HR initiatives.

You will create and deliver best-in-class communications to drive alignment around business objectives, deepening awareness and engagement, and providing clarity to colleagues on strategic progress while instilling pride about our values and our purpose.You will envision and execute communication strategies and key messages through diverse tactics and channels and strong cross functional collaboration, ensuring high degrees of integration and coordination with key partners and stakeholders.

You will also ensure alignment with corporate messaging and brand.

Primary responsibilities include: Strategic Communications planning: o Develop and oversee the communications strategies to support Citizens’ mission, strategic priorities, values and culture o Develop and oversee the overarching strategy and tone for all enterprise-wide communications o Manage executive communication strategic plans and communication programs in support of organizational goalsStakeholder relationship management: o Provide strategic counsel and coaching to HR Executives and other functional leaders as needed to ensure priorities and messaging are aligned and articulated in a manner consistent with the overall company strategy and culture o Foster and maintain active partnerships with senior business leaders and key partners (e.g., HR leaders, media relations, social media) to drive the development and ongoing management of communications plans and strategies.

o Be a thought partner to leaders – influencing, shaping and driving communications recommendations and strategies to support desired outcomesTactical execution:
• Drive flawless execution of plan (directly and through influence of partners).

Identify key metrics and measurement plan to ensure communication activities are efficient, effective and scalable QualificationsQualificationsRequired Skills/Experience:
• Proven communication skills, with experience in influencing and negotiating at a Senior / Executive level
• Communications program planning
• Writing for diverse audiences
• Executive communications
• Communications program and project management
• Driving change through effective communications
• Metrics development and analysis
• Cross-functional relationship building
• Presentation development and design
• Delivery of presentations and pitch documents
• Employee engagement campaigns and / or employee culture change experience
• Team leadership Preferred Skills/Experience:
• 7-10+ years experience in Communications
• 7-10+ years experience in Project Management
• 7-10+ years experience in working within a large / complex organization
• 7-10+ years experience in Executive CommunicationsEducation, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred: Master’s Degree, preferably in communications, organization behavior, journalism, or marketing Hours and Work ScheduleHours per week: 40 hoursWork schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pmThis position is not available in Colorado.
